The Agile Coach Bootcamp combines the new Agile Facilitator class with the 3-day version of Coaching Agile Teams, taking place over 5 days and evenings in a retreat setting. There will be 3 Bootcamp leaders to guide you on a comprehensive experience, resulting in class certifications in Agile Facilitation & Coaching by International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile) and 40 SEUs by the Scrum Alliance. The primary class components of the Bootcamp are:
The Agile Facilitator: Catalyzing Collaboration, Delivering Results

The two classes are woven together into a single, intensive and immersive experience that will catapult your agile coaching skills and results to new levels. You will leave a different person!
YOU MUST ATTEND ALL 5 DAYS including evening practices, to get the full benefit for yourself and to be fair to your fellow colleagues as the skills in the class build on one another. When you are gone, even for a short time, you miss a lot. In addition, this course is accredited by ICAgile as part of the Agile Facilitation and Coaching certification track. To receive ICAgile credit, you must attend the entire time.

About the Retreat Center
The Essex Retreat Center's property is set in a beautiful, peaceful place and is tucked amidst 18 acres of white pines and oaks, less than a mile from the ocean and surrounded by 250 acres of conservation land. Menus are healthy, wholesome and abundant meals with vegetarian options. All meals are prepared by our Executive chef and professional food service staff.
While we feel you will be pleased with the accommodations, we want to make sure that you know this is a rustic retreat center - not a spa. A place to think and breathe in nature, eat wholesome food, and a chance to get to know your fellow students by sharing two (or three) to a room and three to a bathroom. A limited number of Sunday arrivals and single rooms are available for an additional fee. Contact Meg for details.

In the days before photography, portraits offered self-expression and family documentation, first to the wealthy colonial settlers, and then increasingly to the middle class. Itinerant artists of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, often self-taught, painted inexpensive portraits for rural families, and worked in a style whose charm still appeals today. Join Site Manager Kristen Weiss for an in-depth look at the folk art portrait collection at Cogswell’s Grant, and an exploration of the many families and artists represented in the house.
After thirty years, Nina Fletcher Little’s book Neat and Tidy: Boxes and Their Contents Used in Early American Households is still as popular as ever. Often beautifully decorated or constructed for a specific purpose, boxes offer insights into the lives of everyday people. Join Site Manager Kristen Weiss for a special tour of the house and see some of the 148 boxes in the collection, many of which are not usually on display.
